You’re Too KIND {giveaway}

For those of you who have spent any extended period of time around this neck of the woods, you know that I am not a “cool blogger.” No one sends me anything, ever, probably because my circle of influence is a bit on the minor side (and because I don’t want to solicit brands for their products). Needless to say, when I received an e-mail from KIND a couple weeks before the Chicago Marathon, it was the greatest day of my blogging life.

Coincidentally, I had my first KIND Bar during marathon training. Back in July I found myself at Trader Joe’s, buying food for my Fourth of July festivities and ready to gnaw my arm off because I was so hungry. I bought a KIND Bar, ate it on my way out of the store, and have been in love ever since. (I also got a free KIND Bar one day while running down by North Ave. Beach, which was probably the best run I had in 18 weeks, because hello: free food = good run).


I’m crazy about KIND products. Not only do they taste fantastic but as far as snack food goes, they’re pretty good for you. All natural, non-GMO, gluten free (for those of you who with gluten sensitivities), and all of the Nuts & Spices bars have 5g of sugar or less and STILL taste phenomenal. It’s great.

KIND sent me 14 bars and a bag of dark chocolate & cranberry clusters granola. While I haven’t eaten my way through the entire stash yet, I’ve made a bit of a dent and so far am continuing to adore KIND snacks.



Thus far, I’d have to say the Cashew & Ginger Spice is my favorite flavor. I cannot get over the fact that I love the Cashew & Ginger Spice bar so much, because I really do not particularly enjoy ginger. I guess if anything’s a testimonial to how delicious these bars are, that’s probably it. (I have, however, been saving the chocolate ones for last, so Cashew & Ginger Spice might be dethroned in the coming days 😉 )

  1. Congrats on your first giveaway! I have been on a granola kick lately. Especially with soy milk after a workout, sugar + protein for recovery, right?

    I’m also obsessed with the WFM brand of hummus. SO good and no oil added either!

  2. Hooray!! You got offered free stuff AND it was something you like. Totally win-win. And I’m gonna add a third win because if I win this giveaway that would be awesome. I remember when a friend of mine was pregnant and had gestational diabetes and the KIND bars were all she ate for like three months. So, they’re even good for that!

    I think my favorite snack food is actually rice cracker mix. I could eat an entire bag.

  3. What a great giveaway! Thanks Bethany 🙂 My entire family (my dad especially) was absolutely obsessed with Kind Bars at one point…they are delicious! My current snack of choice though is popcorn. Can’t.get.enough.
